The Catawba County Historical Association is a private, nonprofit organization established to document and maintain the history and heritage of Catawba County, North Carolina.
Through interpretation, preservation, and education, the CCHA strives to provide an accurate and exciting approach to local history at our multiple locations: the Catawba County Museum of History; the Harper House/Hickory History Center; Murray's Mill; and the Bunker Hill Covered Bridge.

We invite you to subscribe and to share your comments and questions as together we explore Catawba County's past.
One of the downstairs exhibit cases was recently updated. It now features objects from Clinton A. Cilley, a Union officer during the Civil War who later made his home in Catawba County. Come see!
