The Catawba County Historical Association is a private, nonprofit organization established to document and maintain the history and heritage of Catawba County, North Carolina.
Through interpretation, preservation, and education, the CCHA strives to provide an accurate and exciting approach to local history at our multiple locations: the Catawba County Museum of History; the Harper House/Hickory History Center; Murray's Mill; and the Bunker Hill Covered Bridge.
The CCHA Blog
This blog is intended to inform readers of events, updates, and historical facts and anecdotes. Additionally, information about our current and upcoming exhibitions and programs as well as a "behind the scenes" peek into activities of the CCHA will be posted. We invite you to subscribe and to share your comments and questions as together we explore Catawba County's past.
A reminder that the CCHA's first poker run, visiting historic sites throughout Catawba County, will be held on Saturday, June 19. For more information, see below or visit Murray's Mill on Facebook.
